Instant Wireless Network Security
Once a GIGABYTE router is connected to a cable/ADSL modem, powered on and then a GIGABYTE wireless adapter is installed on a computer, a user is merely seconds away from creating a secure wireless network. Simply select the GIGABYTE router from the list of available networks in the Configuration Utility window and Smart Setup III prompts the user to enter a self-defined security key (alphanumeric, max. 63 characters). Having setup robust encryption and authentication for the wireless network, Smart Setup III will now automatically proceed to detect the ISP service type (PPPoE, Dynamic IP or Static IP) and display a window accordingly. Smart Setup III will then prompt the user to enter basic ISP account information, such as account name and password – and that's it! No further settings, no further 'wizard' prompts.
